Coach: Shannon Louvier
Assistant Coach: Jana Wolf
Our goal as coaches is to not only train our girls to be the best player in volleyball they can be, but to also train them to be the best Christian athlete. In this program, we will always shine His light, stay humble, and play the game we love, 100 percent. Whatever we accomplish as a team, all the glory goes to God and my job as a coach is to instill that in the players’ heart. There is no “I” in this team. Whatever an individual accomplishes, it is produced as a team. I want the girls to love God with their heart and soul, and I want that to be shown by their actions on and off the court. Our season lasts from the middle of July all the way to the end of October so that gives the girls a lot of time to get to know each other better than before and become a big family unit. We have a memory verse that will be our team verse all year and that is Mark 9:23. Before every game we will meet in our classroom to prep, get into game mode and then end in prayer before we get in front of our fans. Nothing I want more than as a coach, is to see my team grow stronger in their Christian walk during the season. We have made team goals and that’s what we will set out to reach and achieve.
“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” Mark 9:23 (NLT)
“Greatness is a way of life!”
