Baseball

There is so much that ACS wants to teach our players that goes beyond the game of baseball.

Each season the goal for ACS as a Christian school is to teach as much about the game of baseball as we can. We want the players to be prepared for any situation that may arise. However, our ultimate goal as a Christian school is to impart character traits that would prepare young men for any situation that may arise in life. The four character traits that they focus on as a Christian school are:

  1. Perseverance – People don’t struggle with persevering when they are successful. When things are not going well, our perseverance is tested.
  2. Servanthood – According to Christ, in order for one to be a leader, he or she must serve. Athletes need to be taught to serve their teammates.
  3. Submission – Life is always about submission. Athletes need to be taught submission to coaches, teammates, officials, parents, and administration.
  4. Responsibility – Each athlete needs to understand that in order to be successful as a team, he or she must be responsible as an individual.

We invite all of our students, parents and alumni to support our ACS Baseball team by attending one of our games.
