The goal for the ACS Volleyball team is to not only train our girls to be the best player in volleyball they can be, but to also train them to be the best Christian athlete. In this program, we will always shine His light, stay humble, and play the game we love, 100 percent. Whatever we accomplish as a team, all the glory goes to God and the job of the coach is to instill that in the players’ heart. There is no “I” in our team. Whatever an individual accomplishes, it is produced as a team. We want the girls to love God with their heart and soul, and we want that to be shown by their actions on and off the court.
Our season lasts from the middle of July all the way to the end of October so that gives the girls a lot of time to get to know each other better than before and become a big family unit. Before every game we will meet in our classroom to prep, get into game mode and then end in prayer before we get in front of our fans. We want nothing more than to see our team grow stronger in their Christian walk during the season. We make team goals and that is what we set out to reach and achieve.
